Classes for the Young Performers (Ages 4 - 8)

Theatre Magic

For the kid who wants to be in the spotlight!  A fun introduction to musical theatre where children learn the basics of acting, singing (solo and group), and theatre movement.

Theatre Magic 1: (ages 4-5) Fridays, 4:45-5:30pm  $175

Musical Theatre Classes

Introduction to Musical Theatre

An introduction to the world of musical theatre performance.  Students will learn the basic principles and techniques (acting, singing, movement, and terminology) to succeed in a musical theatre production.  Students must complete one semester of Introduction to Musical Theatre before moving onto the Production class.

Intro Section 1: (ages 9-12) Thursdays, 4:15-5:45pm  $225
Intro Section 2: (ages 13-18) Thursdays, 6:00-7:30pm  $225

Dance Classes

Beginning Ballet

Students will be introduced to the fundamental exercises, techniques and steps of classical ballet.  Basic ballet terminology, correct body alignment, and simple adagio and allegro combinations are introduced in barre and center work.

Section 1: (ages 8-12) Wednesdays, 4:15-5:15pm  $180
Section 2: (ages 13-18) Mondays,     6:15-7:45pm  $225

Acting Classes

Acting/Character Study

Students will be introduced to the components of acting: listening, eye contact, concentration and focus through the study of character creation with age appropriate monologues and scenes.   The students will also focus on developing the ability to react truthfully through improvisational activities.

Private Lessons / Music Theory

Private Voice

Students will learn the basics of vocal technique through the study of musical theatre vocal repertoire. Each 30-minute private session is designed to build vocal strength, technique, proper breathing, support, and placement. Vocal Private Voice payments must be pre-paid and will be scheduled for two-week sessions* at the discretion of the student and teacher.
