Elise Hearden

Elise Hearden will be graduating this May from Oklahoma City University with a BS degree in American Dance Pedagogy.  She has been heavily trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and basic aerial silks dancing.  With a degree focusing on teaching, Elise is currently teaching classes at OCU's Community Dance Center and Lyric Academy.  She has also taught for other dance studios and musical theatre camps within the area, as well as in Wisconsin and New Hampshire.  Elise has been fully trained by the Leap 'N Learn program and finds a great joy in teaching students ages 3-8, amongst all other ages as well.   In addition to teaching, Elise can be seen on stage performing.  At Oklahoma City University she was in The Most Happy Fella and was dance captain for Thoroughly Modern Millie.  She has also been seen as Velma in West Side Story, Bird Girl in Seussical: The Musical, and Baker's Wife in Into the Woods.  Upon graduating from OCU, Elise will be venturing into a professional career performing and teaching.
