Introduction to Musical Theatre
An Introduction to the world of musical theatre performance. Students will learn the basic principles and techniques (acting, singing, movement, and terminology) to succeed in a musical theatre production. Students must complete one semester of Introduction to Musical Theatre before moving onto the Musical Theatre Production class.
Section 1 (ages 9-12): Thursdays, 5;45-7:15pm $225
Section 2 (ages 13-18): Thursdays, 4:00-5:30pm $225
Musical Theatre Production
Students will apply musical theatre technique from a strong acting base to create the multiple characters called for by the Academy's musical productions. Students must have completed one semester of Introduction to Musical Theatre before moving onto the Production Class. This is an audition-only class. Auditions are by appointment only. Appointments will be taken during the Open House.
Section 1 (Grades 2-5): Saturdays, 10:00am-1:30pm $360
Section 2 (Grades 6-8): Thursdays, 4:00-7:30pm $360
Section 3 (Grades 9-12): Tuesdays, 4:00-7:30pm $360
