Acting/Character Study
Students will be introduced to the components of acting, listening, eye contact, concentration, and focus through the study of character creation, through age appropriate monologues and scenes. The students will also foucs on developing the ability to react truthfully through improvisational activities.
Section 1 (ages 8-12): Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00pm $180
Section 2 (ages 13-18): Fridays, 4:30-5:30pm $180
Monologue/Acting Through Song
Students will study the essential elements of acting: character objectives, obstacles, beats, conflicts, and relationships through solo song and monologue activities. This class will focus on developing a viable audition repertoire through study of the musical and literary canon.
